Launch of the Arab Labor Conference in Cairo with the participation of Iraq

The 45 th session of the Arab Labor Conference, which will be held from April 8 to 15 with the participation of Iraq and the presence of representatives of the production parties, "Governments, Employers and Workers" from all Arab countries, started on Sunday.
Iraq is represented at the conference by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, along with 17 Arab Labor Ministers, and a number of Arab and international figures active in the field of economic and social development.
The current session will discuss a number of important topics, headed by Fayez Al-Mutairi, the Director General of the Arab Labor Office, entitled: "The Dynamics of Arab Labor Markets: Transitions and Pathways of Progress", as well as two technical items: the social responsibility of private sector institutions, And its role in improving competitiveness and increasing growth.
The session will also review the activities and achievements of the organization during 2017, as well as several reports on the results of the 37th session of the Committee on Freedom of Association, progress in the implementation of the Arab employment contract and on the work of Arab women.
The conference will also review the draft plan of the Organization "Arab Labor Office and its institutes and centers for the years 2019/2020", and the analytical report of the plan, the draft budget of the Arab Labor Organization "Arab Labor Office and its institutes and centers for the year 2019-2020.
