Local sources in the city of Kubani in western Kurdistan (Kurdistan Syria), said Friday that three children were killed and a fourth was injured by a landmine explosion in the countryside of the western region.
These sources confirmed to Basnews that «three children were killed and a fourth injured by a landmine explosion while grazing livestock in the vicinity of the villages of Garkli and Ashma border with northern Kurdistan (Kurdistan Turkey)».
She pointed out that «these children were assisted to the city of Kobany, but three of them were martyred while receiving the fourth who was seriously injured, treatment at the hospital in Amal city».
It is noteworthy that hundreds of civilians were killed and injured in recent years by mines left behind by the organization calling on the one hand, and mines planted by the Turkish side on the border with western Kurdistan, on the other hand.
