Kurdistan allocates 3 billion to one of the disputed cities

The Kurdistan Regional Government decided on Tuesday to allocate 3 billion dinars to complete the stalled projects in Khanaqin.
"The deputy head of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, instructed the immediate implementation of three projects of the stalled projects to head the municipality of the city of Khanaqin," said the mayor of Khanaqin Suran Ali on his Facebook page.
He added that "the projects at a total cost estimated at 3 billion dinars," noting that "include the exuberance of the neighborhood Kunara, and the planting and work of fountains in the carrots and the center and the construction of lecture halls and playground for the Institute of Sports Khanaqin."
It is noteworthy that Khanaqin is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Erbil, which are included in the Iraqi constitution article 140.
