Baghdad Governor Atwan al-Atwani said on Monday that the province is coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to launch the current year's 115 billion dinars, along with 50 percent of petrodollars.

Al-Atwani said in a statement to the newspaper 'morning' official that 'the Baghdad Provincial Council held an emergency session to discuss the subject of financial allocations for projects for the national effort, which is formed in accordance with Resolution 96 of the Council of Ministers and including the start of projects in areas of the parties suffering from poor infrastructure.

Al-Atwani added that "the Council voted during the meeting to launch the amounts of development of the provinces for the current year, amounting to 115 billion dinars, 85 for the province and 15 percent for the Municipality of Baghdad, in addition to the launch of 50 percent of the petrodollar within the operating budget of the province to be allocated to the sectors of sewage and water, .

Al-Atwani noted that 'the local government of Baghdad has not received any amounts of petrodollars since 2013 so far, and now it is in dire need of the amounts in order to raise the level of service areas of the parties', explaining that' the Council authorized the province of Baghdad to begin the implementation of this in high coordination with the Ministry of Finance to speed up The release of funds allocated to them, especially that the financial was waiting for a decision to spend amounts of special national effort because of the lack of financial allocations to him '.

He expressed the hope that 'seriously deal with the resolution to be able to maintain the solution of service problems in the outskirts of the capital as soon as possible and priority, under a feasibility study for all projects', pointing out that' the effort and maintain its potential will recover completely if the launch of financial allocations to move the wheel of reconstruction and promote this important file '.

He added that the Ministry of Construction and implementation of the decision of the national effort, began to send its service and the effort in preparation for the launch of a service expedition and comprehensive in the area of ​​laboratories located in the outskirts of Baghdad under an integrated service plan to lead the work and engineering effort and service of the ministry in coordination with the effort of the province and the Municipality of Baghdad.

Al-Atwani added that "a joint engineering effort will be set up and the work of the campaign will begin, including cutting the streets and filling the marshes, as well as removing the debris, debris and garbage quickly."
