Economy News _ Baghdad

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign exchange sales rose to 181.04 million dollars on Wednesday, up from 173.62 million dollars on Tuesday, an increase of 7.42 million dollars.

The Central Bank said in a statement read by "Economy News" that the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 39 banks, and 6 companies for financial transfer.

The total sales for the day were $ 199.34 million, the bank said.

Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 179.88 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 1.16 million.

The Central Bank, that the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
