Governor of the Iraqi Central: The amounts are ready in the branch of Erbil to pay salaries

The governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, that the amounts required to pay the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region ready in the central branch in Erbil, and they are waiting for instructions from Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
The Iraqi delegation arrived in Erbil on Sunday evening, in a visit aimed at resolving outstanding issues outstanding between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.
The Iraqi delegation is headed by the Governor of the Central Bank Ali Alalak and will discuss outstanding financial issues between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.
Al-Aalak said in a press conference attended by Basnews correspondent: "What the Prime Minister said at the last conference is the news that you heard and heard, and we are looking forward to good. As for our visit, it is the branch of the Central Bank in Erbil and coordination with the Ministry of Finance in the region, Some things that concern the regulation of the banking sector in the Kurdistan Region ».
And the existence of more than 250 billion dinars in the branch of the Central Bank of Iraq, and whether to pay the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan Region or not, said the words: «usually keeps the central bank amounts in its branches, and if there is a request to pay to certain parties we have to respond to these calls, If the government has the intention to pay salaries, and this is what we hope, of course, we are ready and the amounts are present, if we came to be instructed by the Prime Minister ».

He pointed out that the visit to the government delegation to Erbil aims to coordinate on the collection of taxes and standardization and work to remove obstacles in this regard, explaining that the delegation is working to activate the role of the Central Bank in the Kurdistan Region. He said: «We are working to reach an agreement in this regard tomorrow to facilitate banking operations in the Kurdistan Region».
"We expect the salaries to be launched in the next few days. As for the reopening of airports in the region to international flights, the agreements so far indicate that this will take place on the 20th of this month," MP Ezzat Saber said in a press statement.
The Iraqi Prime Minister had promised during the weekly press conference to open Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports and pay the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region, before the Norouz holidays, on 21 March.
