An air forecaster at the Basra International Airport said flights were stopped at the airport due to lack of visual vision due to the dust storm that hit southern and western Iraq


He added that the impact of the front of the cold air and a coup in the direction of the wind from the south-east to the south-west led to the escalation of dust and lack of vision up to 100 meters with a lack of wind speed, adding that the lack of rain and drought in the south and west of Iraq led to the ease of dust storms that hit Some areas of Basra, Nasiriyah, Badia, Samawah and western Anbar, stressing that the storm will continue to the evening and will be lighter tomorrow.
