Iran responds to al-Jubayr "arrogant" about Iraq

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasimi said in response to statements by the Saudi foreign minister on the sidelines of the Iraq Reconstruction Conference that Adel al-Jubair had forgotten that he should not and should not speak on behalf of the Iraqi government and people.
"The government and the people of Iraq and other countries that are aware and credible have always recognized Iran's fateful role in establishing stability, combating Takfiri terrorism in the region and Iraq, and strengthening security in this country," he said.
He went on to say that Adel al-Jubeir's claims were less important than being answered again.
Qassemi said that the Saudi foreign minister, as he seems to be, was used to making statements and nonsense that were not studied and irresponsible.
"The intervention of Iran has exposed Iraq and its territorial integrity, tranquility and stability in this country to danger," Adel al-Jubeir said on the sidelines of the Kuwait International Conference on the Reconstruction of Iraq.
