Re: What Should You Do To Save Excess Tax After RV?
As I wrote before the post was deleted.
Let the dang thing RV first.
We can concern out self with these matters after the RV. I have observed that many people have hired lawyers, opened trusts, started bank accounts (for trusts) and have developed an attitude of bashing the President, as if they were millionaires and he is out to get them.
Lets not count our chickens until all the eggs are hatched.

Post Rv will be too late. All tax strategies are based on preparing ahead of time. Not afterwards. There a couple very good asset protection firms that have told me they are closing the doors to new clients after the RV. Bridgeway in Seattle was one of them. You'll never get an appointment. Only 1/10th of one percent of all attorneys are asset protection specialists. It's like ordering steak and a seafood restaurant. Regular attorneys won't serve you very well.
Read the e-book I wrote. May change your mind.
Something to think about,.

Not sure what this statement means, one doesn't need to be, or anticipate being a millionaire to develop an attitude of bashing the President. He has certainly given the entire population enough ammunition to develop this attitude. His policies have almost ruined this country.

Re: What Should You Do To Save Excess Tax After RV?
Just gotta ask...
Why would "good asset protection" firms close their doors to new clients after the RV? Asset protection paperwork is just not that difficult and it has an ending. Fill out the paperwork, file it and the person is done with that portion, he then goes on to management with another attorney/firm/accountant, etc.
If an attorney closes his doors to new clients during this period, that's business suicide. Smart businesses hire more people to handle the business, even if it's temporary help. Any para legal can fill out paperwork, the attorney checks it before filing. Easy.
Attorneys who handle foreign corps/trust, etc., live in foreign countries, ex pats. That's like saying "After the RV, we're not going to be selling any more cars...too much work for us." What?
Trusts, corp., LLC's, asset protection can be opened and completed at any time. And, corporations pay taxes based on when they filed for their EIN, not fiscal or calendar year.
This sounds like a marketing/sales ploy to me. "Get it while it's hot!" Then, say you're closing your doors, and suddenly decide to open them again, and charge more.
Please stop trying to scare people. There are plenty of really good attorneys, accountants, doctors, housekeepers, and orthodontists for your children. When you have money, they will all come running....trust me on this one.

* I wish it were that simple but it just isn't. Paperwork is all the same but each person has different goals, circumstances etc...***

*** As I said, 1/10th of 1 percent of all attorneys are asset protection specialists. They are overrun with clients now and after the RV there will be about 3 million unprepared people clamoring to get it done because they were too lazy and procrastinating to do it now. ***

*** You don't get it at all and have made many incorrect assumptions. You should do some homework other than what you obviously have done so far. ***

*** Not trying to scare anyone. Snooze and lose. Your choice. Besides, I see you have reqyested the info. This is no time to be smug. Be prepared. ***

I don't Think you have to set up savings ideas before it RV's, but you must do it before you cash in. You have not made any money till you cash in, as per my accountant

Still that has nothing to do with it but I actually don't have time to go into it. I will however, give you the reasoning behind this. It isn't what you think. I'll promise to get back to you tomorrow during the day. It's been a long one and I have more work to finish before I can eat and go to bed.
Later!
