[...i have been hearing these rumors for awhile, about how basically the RV button is ready and waiting for specifically US to push the button, and that it doesnt matter if GOI is ready or not. Is it true that other nations or governments are the ones behind when there will be a RV on the dinar?]  No one knows for certain. My belief is that any rate must be accepted / valued by the world economic community.  So, the valuation of the IQD is not a unilateral act by Iraq. What will any country exchange their currency for " equivalent " dinar ?  The US being the world's reserve country, it may be very important what value the US places upon the dinar, but as to any "button"?
