MP Javad al-Bolani on Wednesday called for the release of financial allocations for the projects in the Hussainiya district.

Al-Bolani said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance to launch financial allocations for projects disabled to spend Husseiniya," noting that "this will raise the suffering of more than 600 thousand people."

"Husseiniya has given more than 316 martyrs in the liberation battles," Bolani said.

Hundreds of demonstrators demonstrated in the Husseiniya area north of Baghdad on Wednesday to demand services, while threatening to cut off a major road if their demands are not met within two days.
