US State Department expresses concern about the secession referendum for the Kurdistan region and calls for a unified Iraq

It expressed the US State Department concern about the independence referendum "non-binding" scheduled to take place in the Kurdistan region of Iraq in the month of September.
The US State Department announced in a statement Thursday that this referendum will be spent of the "most important", such as the defeat of militants to organize "Daesh" priorities.
She added, "We encourage regional authorities to discuss with the Government of Iraq on a full range of important, including the future of relations between Baghdad and Erbil on the basis of the Iraqi constitution issues."
At the time, expressed its appreciation at the ministry's "legitimate aspirations" of the people of Iraqi Kurdistan, he said in a statement that it supports "a united Iraq, a federal stable and democratic.
Earlier in the day Germany expressed concern that the KRG plans to hold a referendum on secession, could inflame tensions in the region, warning that the region of the move.

He added Gabriel "to redraw the borders of the state is not the right way and may lead to the aggravation of the difficult situation already troubled and in Erbil (the provincial capital) and Baghdad as well."
He called on "all parties to seek dialogue and find a consensus to deal with outstanding issues and not to ignite conflicts again in the disputed areas between Erbil and Baghdad," stressing the need to preserve the unity of Iraq to support the ongoing war against the organization "Daesh".
"The victory was not achieved after the war against the organization and together we can only take the following steps which may be the most important in dealing with the challenges ahead
