Ambassador al-Maliki will meet Australia

Called on the Vice President, Nuri al-Maliki, during a meeting with Ambassador of Australia in Iraq, Lendl Sachs, to the need to promote the size of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
He said the First Vice-President of the Republic, in a press statement: "The al-Maliki met with Ambassador Australia to Iraq Lendl Sachs marking the end of its work, "noting that the two sides stressed the" importance of improving bilateral relations between Iraq and Australia to meet the aspirations of the two friendly countries in various fields, "noting that" the two sides reviewed the latest developments related to the war on terror and the role of Australia's support for Iraq in this area.

Why is he meeting anyone? Shouldn't he be in jail? They keep saying that there is a warrant out for his arrest and then then they sit down to meetings with him. How difficult can it be to schedule a meeting and then arrest him? Better yet assassinate him.
