Tony's whopper of the day.... Congressional testimony

TONY - I know some idiots and fidiots who will try to turn it around into our trying to protect one political party over another, but I can tell you, BOTH parties have approached us to testify front of congress. I don’t want to get involved in that; I just want my money so I can get on with my life.

This is so stupid on the face of it that it defies explanation. What would either POSSIBLY have to say in front of Congress, and what committee would they be testifying before?
Or, were they going to just talk in front of the combined House and Senate?

There's enough crooks in congress already...they won't bring an already convicted and soon to be convicted again lying a hole in front congress. The government is stupid...but they aren't that stupid!
