Saturday, 25 October, 2014

BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, met on Saturday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, a number of tribal leaders of Anbar province

Al- Jubouri, according to a statement by his office today, met with the elders of Anbar in the presence of the Iraqi ambassador in Amman, the recent developments in the security situation in the province and ways to support the security services, stressing the need to that the clans take real role in restoring security and stability to their regions and secure the return of families that fled from them.

For their part, the elders of the clans thanked interest of House Speaker in Anbar province, stressing their willingness to unite in order to fight terrorism and restore stability to the province.
