Well I went to the closest Wells Fargo today to open up my holding account only to be told that they aren't even allowed to open any accounts if a prospective client mentions Dinar or Currency Exchange. This was one of their private bankers which says he has had many that have come in over the past 10 years stating this is about to happen....he wanted to try and give me the oh I'm sorry you have fallen for this look, but I just thank you for you time and I won't waste anymore of it....of course he says if anything changes please keep my card so you can call me and at least say "I told you so".  ********************* I got the same story from my local WF yesterday, only the ladies I tried to deal with were very nose in the air and really rubbed me the wrong way. I told them they were mistaken and that I would take all my business to Chase but I would be sure to return and tell them what they were missing. I guess the mistake I made was to just not open a regular checking account. If you say currencies or exchanging, you're doomed. ************* wf made me close my account when I went in to check my balance. when I opened it they knew what it was for. NOW they said if it has anything to do with the Iraq dinar they cant help you and must close your account!!!!!!!! *************** I am to tell you that here in TX, DC state I when to 2 WF branch and they don't open my account. I let and not said nothing, because when they ask me what you do with this account I told that I will deposit some money, and when they ask me from where, I said currency exchange. I can't laid for nothing. That mean I will open my account when I exchange my currency, I will not worry about that. I think we know better. | |

Why would a bank even care what you think you will use the account for? And why tell them anything?
