Hakim Meets With a Senior US Official

BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim said the Islamic State organization does not represent a danger to Iraq only, but it is a threat to international peace and security. Hakim, during his a meeting with Deputy National Security Advisor, Tony Blinken in his office in Baghdad, according to a statement of the Supreme Council, stressed "on the importance of high seriousness in confronting (IS).
He called, during the meeting, which was attended by the American ambassador in Baghdad Stewart Jones "Arab tribes in the western regions to take the role in the confrontation of the gangs of the (IS). http://goo.gl/FmgEa3
