Nasiriyah / NINA / The general commander of the armed forces, the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi said Baghdad is safe and the terrorist elements are being killed away from it. He pledged in a speech in the graduation ceremony of a special session of the anti-terrorism officers in Dhi Qar province today "the security forces will liberate the city of Tikrit soon and will hunt down all terrorists involved in the Speicher military base crime." Abadi said that "all the displaced will return to their homes and their areas, saying this day is not far away.

I agree, I think they are just trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and create false security. Still all in upheaval there.
