Peshmerga repulse the progress of the IS in Daquq

KIRKUK / NINA / Security and official sources in Daquq district in the province of Kirkuk said that clashes erupted between IS elements and Peshmerga forces that spreading around the district.
Police Chief of Daquq, 45 km south of Kirkuk, Brigadier Mohammed Kawa, said the IS militants tried to closer to one of the villages of the district and the Peshmerga forces clashed with them, killing five militants from the IS. .
Chairman of the council of the district, Dr. Amir Khoa Karam said that five of the IS militants, were killed today while trying to get close to a checkpoint for Peshmerga forces near the village of Abdullah Al-Ghanim's and the destruction of a vehicle for them was loaded with explosive devices for trapping some ways.
He pointed out that the militants conveyed their dead bodies to the villages to Al-Azizia and al-Atshana on the west side of the district./ End
