PUK attributes the delay in submission presidential candidate to delay in submission of the National Alliance's candidate for prime minister

BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Ares Abdullah attributed the delay of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) to announce its candidate for the presidency of the Republic, to the lateness of the National Alliance in its candidate for prime minister.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The announcement of the PUK's candidate for the post of president of the republic will be after the agreement by the Kurdish blocs."
The MP added, " the candidate of PUK will be announced before the parliamentary session on next Wednesday, after a meeting of the political bureau and consultation with the Kurdish parties ," adding: "Wednesday's session will be crucial to the presidential election and there will not be postponement, because there is a constitution and law we must adhere to them.
