I question any "sincere" intel. Too many "It's Done" statements. I do however agree that we should all be doing our part in serving our world and those that are in need.

I still have high hopes and follow Okie and look forward to his post each day....Hope he is right bounce

One thing that discourage me yesterday 8-19-2011 around 6pm on ABC news(13) in Houston was that Bank of America is laying off 3500 employess and plan on laying off another 100,000 later. I thought this was suppose to be one of the big ones, but hopefully things will change for the better for them and us. Dow was way down... scratch

Thank you, as ever, Okie, for that great info. I really appreciate all you do. You work so tirelessly to help us and I KNOW your heart is in the right place.

And what I hope for all of us is that his source(s) are right! I believe completely that this is information he received. The problem with the bashers is that they think he's to blame for info not being correct. And we don't really know, nor will we ever know, WHY the info they've given Okie is incorrect. Maybe it was correct at the time or maybe the source was given bad info (as in all the MIS-information they've been reportedly spreading). And one of these days, the info will be correct. I hope and pray, especially for all of us who are in great need and certainly for the Iraqi people, that they are correct NOW!

As for all the predictions from a year ago or so, what HAS changed since then is Erbil, HCL, sovereignty, release of DFI funds, paying off loans, Shabibi's public declarations, etc., etc. These HUGE changes have paved the way for this to truly come about NOW.

Here's hoping and praying that the time really is VERY soon!

Here we go again with the negativity. If you can't say something positive - THEN KEEP IT TO YOURSELF as we've already have had enough negative comments made in this investment already.
Another thing, this is an INVESTMENT, not a quick way to riches. Any of you negative people (wanderingjew etc.) ever been in an investment before? If you have it either panned out or it didn't. That is the RISK you took when you bought into the investment. Kind of like drilling an oil well - you strike it or you don't - then you go on to the next hole.
If you can't be POSITIVE, then BE SILENT. Some of us need a boost every now and then and positive comments help that boost. People that think negative thoughts all the time are NEGATIVE PEOPLE and personally I will not even read their comments. Truthfully, wanderingjew, when I see your moniker at the head of the comment I pass right on by knowing it is a negative one and I prefer to not WASTE MY TIME on some such as you. Thank you Okie, you at least are honest enough to admit that you can be wrong and still are trying. But I guess that is because we share something in common - oilfield. No one else other than some such as we would understand.

Thank you Okie... I appreciate the way you are a "man of your word" and continue to stand firm in spite of all the bashers out there. There is no man... or demon in hades that can stop what the Lord has pre-destined to happen... especially when it comes to blessing His people. Just remember Okie… you are in good company here… can you only image how Moses must have felt with all the bashers HE had to put up with!!!

One has to admire, if anything, a person as tenacious as Okie has been on this subject/project. I myself do, and frankly, respects him for it.

It can only IMHO, come from a foundation of having a burning desire to contribute to " the common good "and not just or simply for "personal gain".

Our true motives including Okie and yours truly will obviously ultimately reflect on the actions we take when the funds become a reality in our lives. I can only pray that I will be a worthy steward of this blessings and I am convinced unless proven otherwise that Okie will, hearing him and about the humanitarian endeavors he wishes to implement.

Thanks to all who have been steadfast in sharing various info/insights that gives us clarity in our discernment.... though sometimes confusing to some.

I consider being part of this "history in the making" a great privilege .
