OK...so take the GBP 5.25 on a calculator and then press the '1/x' key...write this down.

Now CLEAR the calculator...GOOD !

Now take the $8.55 US rate on the calculator and press the '1/x' key...and write this down.

Now here's the COOL part....

Go to the CBI website www.cbi.iq and look at the OLD (still posted) rates FOR BOTH !!!!!!!!

Can't say it has actually RV'ed yet...but the GBP and US rates are closing in on each other...yet the US rate has been a constant 1170.

This sounds good for an RV for a GBP 5.25 or 1906.398 which finally = $8.55...the 1,170 shown (8.55 -> '1/x') !

Just moving the current Rate decimal points over to the left by 4 !!!

I had same message as you. However, RQ's post was from hours ago...site probably changed in prep for new SOLID rate. Perhaps the 9.17 was a floating rate....?

why would PTR give away IQD 300,000 the night before an RV??? At a rate of $8 that is $2.4Million. Who just gives that away the day before an RV???

They give some out on each call. As Of today it did not cost them that much to give this out. I gave that much away yesterday. If I give it away before the actual RV I only gave away the $ amount I paid for this as it is not worth much before the RV. I might not be willing to give that amount after the Rv because it would be $$$$$$ value.

According to several Guru's, it has RV'd SEVERAL times this year! :happyjoy:

Would someone please post the exact websites we all can be looking at by ourselves to look at rates ie the CBI site, the correct Forex one (there are a few I think), etc...ANY SITES that have validity & could you please make them clickable for everyone??? THANK YOU!!!
