Some Interesting Numbers

From the Almada Newspaper site I picked this up on some other sites, I have not been able to confirm these numbers anywhere else, my guess is that it is just an anomaly, but this is one time I would not mind being wrong. Take it for what it's worth ... interesting, but .....
Iraqi dinar exchange rate for today
USD: $ 0.9
Euro: 0.7
British pound: 0.6
Lebanese pound: 1294.3
KD: 0.2
SR: 3.2
AED: 3.2
JD: 0.6
http://www.almadapaper.net/ar/ It comes from their streaming stock
market and currency exchange section just above the weather on the
bottom left.

I saw a similar thing several months ago and it was found to be a mis-translation or a mis-understanding of what the numbers are referring to. I can't remember eactly what it referred to, but it was NOT the exchange rate of the IQD. It was for some kind of securities or bonds. If the exchange rate were actually that, I think those with contacts in Iraq would have heard about it directly.

Chevy, no I do not watch on a regular basis, just happened to land there looking for an article. I did run it through several translators and all agreed ... but it may be a typo ... since it shows nowhere else, I suspect that to be the case. BTW it is still unchanged ...

Checking the Forex today, it shows the same ole same ole. 100 IQD = .09 USD.
Maybe the mix up is simply in the decimal point??

Checked the site today, still no change. The site seems to be updated, but no change to the numbers .... list this under things that make you go hmmm ....
