Basra (IraqiNews.com) -The project
of (The Modern Basra City) is considered one of the biggest housing
projects in Basra province.The Modern Basra City, which has been built
nearby the Basra Sports City, consists of (1384) housing units according
to the latest international specifications.According to sides
responsible for the project “The modern city contains nursery,
kindergarten, primary schools, health center, mosque, shops and a local
market as well as a cafe, local administration building, police station,
civil defense center, post office and parking yard.”The correspondent
of IraqiNews.com reported that “The housing project is situated (7 KM)
far from Basra city and (5 KM) far from Basra International Airport
nearby the Sport City and overlooks at seacoast of Shatt al-Arab from
southwestern side of Basra.””The modern Basra city contains houses,
vertical apartment buildings and villas,” the reporter of IraqiNews.com
