Maliki, Barzani agree on giving security special significance



Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki discussed with the Kurdistan Kurdistan Prime Minister, Najervan Barzani, which arrived to Baghdad on Monday morning, the pending issues between Baghdad and Erbil where they agreed on resolving all the problems.

A statement by Maliki’s office reported “Maliki and Barzani agreed on giving the security side all over the country special significance along with ratifying the pending laws such as the oil & gas law.”

“The two sides discussed all the pending issues in a friendly atmosphere characterized by good will to resolve the problems where they agreed on giving the security side special attention across the country and enhancing the coordination in this domain.”

The Kurdish delegation has arrived Baghdad on Monday early morning, where it held meeting with the Iraqi National Alliance at Ibrahim al-Jaafary’s office shortly after the delegation’s arrival, where they discussed the pending issues between Baghdad government and KRG.
