Greetings Peoples Dinar Members.

One of my comments is after hearing all of this wonderful news, this just does not make any sense. But, stop and think about this, so far, nothing they have done or the way they have done things has made any sense either. One thinks that tipping there hat would upset the apple cart, but it appears that the CBI has this all planned out and they know exactly what they are doing and when they are going to do it.

Here is the key, no one knows when Maliki will give the final approval, but I truly do not believe he will hold off for all that long especially the mounting pressures he has.

Ray and I have been working and digging very hard for more information so we can share with you regarding your investments. I just talked to Ray and this by far is the best news yet.

This news is related to the news article with screen shots from one of our members. What Ray and I would like to do is tie it all together.

So what this post will answer is many important things. The 2012 budget, the 2013 budget, the final lifting of Chapter 7, the new rate of the Iraqi Dinar and when (finally a drop dead date) that came directly form Dr. Shibibi.

I think I know what the rate will be as I have already shared it in may past posts, so let's just let this play out and we all need to stay positive and let this darn thing happen.

Parliament Economic Committee: Process to start removing zeros from the currency in September

Baghdad, February 18 (Rn) – The parliamentary economic committee, Saturday, in agreement with the Iraqi Central Bank to begin the process of removing zeros from the local currency in September next.

The central bank announced earlier that he is considering the requirements of the project to delete the zeros of the local currency with the Council of Ministers in terms of need process for the enactment of the organized or not.

A member of the Economic Commission Abdul-Hussein Abtan told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Economic Commission agreed with the Central Bank to begin the process of changing the local currency in September next.”

He added that “the agreement granting process to ensure the currency switch for a full year that the two currencies are traded the old and new in the market during this stage.”

And describes the CBI process of switching the currency national project in support of the economy in the country, while expressing the Iraqi government for fear of the project as it will increase the phenomenon of money laundering, “according to belief,” and is working to convince the central bank to stop the implementation of the project, and be approved by the securities the government’s position of deletion of zeros and says it will affect negatively on the financial trading in the stock market.

Abtan explained that “the process of removing the zeros from the currency will contribute to dealing with inflation and facilitate economic cooperation with international banks and reduce the differences of living in the community.”

The Committee emphasized the financial representative, on Sunday, the central bank tarry in the provision of a bill to delete the zeros from the currency to the Committee for the purpose of his study, saying that the law was passed would give Iraq an opportunity to address economic inflation, as experts predict a rise of inflation in the budget in 2012 because of the continuing interest in aspects of operational at the expense of the investment part of the general budget.

And inflation is excessive in the general level of prices and rising incomes as well as higher cash costs and create excessive cash balances.

He concluded his speech by saying Abtan that “the central bank looking to send a bill to change the currency to the House or not because the law gives the Central Bank of implied powers to delete the zeros of the local currency.”

The functions of the central bank conduct of monetary policy in the country, including exchange rate policies and the management of foreign reserves and the issuance of currency management, and raise the level of the values of the Iraqi dinar and deal with inflation in the country, which is responsible also for the maintenance of price stability, as well as to regulate the banking sector.

1) the rate will indeed be over $3...

2) SEPTEMBER 2012 will be RV month...

If this is not smoke...we now have a clear timeframe...

Time frame would be Sept 2013 not 2012. And I dont see anything to give us a rate other than what Ray or Steve say.

My UST contact has confirmed A Rv at a contractor and gov. Level,It was confirmed by me with a n article attached a week ago, with S.Korea selling Practis Planes to Iraq .Per Iraqi News..Deals have been going on for some time now ,,,OKies contact in the oil ind. is just letting Him know that contracts are being Payed on so that they will start moving forward, Many companies threatening to not work without Payment...BUT there has been no In country RV at all at this point,,,, we will know at the same time they do,,,who is to keep some-one from over there from calling a buying up the rest at that point , makes no sense , so we will know at the same time. PERIOD GO RV...

The deputy governor of the Central Bank said Iin a statement to NINA said what has circulated by some media outlets in this regard is baseless , noting that habitually such procedures conducted in beginning of the financial year not in the middle of it .

The deputy governor went to say : "Central bank will as of tomorrow, will set new measures providing fixing the rate of interest on the sale of foreign currency not exceeding 10 Iraqi dinars, because the central bank sale dollars for the banks by 1179 ID , so should not be sold to citizens more of 1189, ID ."/End

Great meaning no lop?

Except thats the EXACT definition of a lop. Every redenomination (aka lop) has BOTH currencies used at the same time for a certain period of time. The only people saying its not a lop are the gurus. Its frustrating because thats not how it works in the real world.

TRB you may be so right!!! I happen to know of some one, a friend of mine personally, her father had invested in the Turkey Currency, they deleted the O'S he made 6,000.00. That's all I can say at this time.

IF it lops then a million becomes 1,000. They keep saying a 25,000 note will have the same value as a new 25 note. So right now a 25,000 note is worth $21.50 so a new 25 note right now would be $21.50. You dont lose but you dont gain, its all EVEN. Thats why we say we hope for an rv BEFORE a RD/lop OR at least a rise in value at the same time.

Yep, I have a friend tho was in that too and broke even. He was not happy. And I have another friend that lives in Romania, and they had the SAME exact news coming out, referencing Turkey, stating they would be redenominating before they did it. She is afraid she is gonna go thru the same thing with the IQD. Sadly, I think we are and it stinks......

Ok Guys Never wanted to get into this, all I can do is speculate ,, Or I would be rich already, But I will through this out there and you guys chop it up,, I Happen to think that China is pushing this Rv . I also think that O is wining about what he want the RV date to be , Reality is this Laws state it is up to CBI after IMF,BIS, has approved at this Point.. But we have to understand that Lives are to be put into the middle of this and I'm not talking about Poor People, God Bless them...I'm talking About being influenced in a way that causes wars , right Now we are on the Brink of economic disaster and China wants their money from US.. being that China has been cut out of this Deal in a sense that they can't Buy anymore IQD above Board..ABOVE BOARD..... we are at the Point that the UN might have to step in to calm down certain countries so that this can move forward in a fashionable way...But in fact Dr. Shab has all authority now that we have Budgets being approved,,But you will see Shabs hold out till he gets what he needs so that CBI Investors are covered.Not all His Money.....at this point we really could see this in the next two weeks ,, Arab conference is coming up and we are talking about a very Proud people ...PLUS Old sanctions will be reinstated By The end of June if Not done. I don't trust Very much Intel at all but through five Hours of research a day This is my conclusion .....You have to know that all Reps of GOV. have their own Media that they use for their own agenda ... FACT ...But when it comes to CBI and the Iraqi citizens I will have to Lean towards they are being up front with The citizens ...Hentz Civil war break-out..Brieghtling had a cc yesterday with some great CBI news in hand stating that , By Sept. the two currencies would coexist and with June in Play and trying to make O happy and trying to cool down China, I have to say we are so so so close....End of March.. 1,000,000 LOP = 1,000 @ 3.22 = $3,220 - $1200 cost + $2,020

then subtract trade in fees( appx $60) and taxes (min $303). Net around $1600 per million dinar

Anybody have an idea how the IQD will hold its value with more notes out in the market?

Thought the more notes out there the less they can say their currency is valued. The less notes out there the more they can say their currency is worth. True for every country - right?

So how can both (new & old) notes coexist? Or will there be a careful turn in/out exchange? Example - turn in 1 25knote & push out 25 ND. And what of the lower notes?

Just taking a look at this from a supply/demand look on their notes?
