Just a little bank story
I went to a Fifth Third Bank in Akron yesterday. I asked the teller if she knew anything about the RV of the Iraqi Dinar. She told me no, then she said that they would be cashing in the dinar. I asked if she had to send them out to be verified and she said no, that she would be able to look at the dinar and know if they were real. She told me just before I left, to be prepared to stand in line when it does happen. And I thought she said she didn't know anything about the dinar. It was a good feeling when I told my husband. Hearing it from our bank is great. This is a true story. I feel we're really close to having the RV. God is truly answering our prayers.

Just a little bank story
Hi there sandymac...I grew up very near to where you are! I am glad to hear your 5/3 story...that is pretty cool! 8) There is one about a mile from me but am hoping other banks will be participating (I am not fond of 5/3 but glad for you.) They have a book they use to check for authenticity by the way. Keep us posted!

Thanks Sandymac, that does make us feel much better. Great to know a teller who knows nothing, know more than the rest of them.
Appreciate your sharing and appreciate splitting it otherwise I may not have seen it... Thanks Ponee..

Re: Just a little bank story
It is good to hear of such news. In austin, TX there are a number of us who will be using the private banker at WF. Not a line scenario, but a booking - starting at 5AM, until done!
My favorite local bank, originally based out of a military post, had stopped selling them and (three months ago) was not sure if they would be cashing them in. They were trained with the list which was posted here a few weeks ago. I look forward to talking with them soon:-). I and two of my friends opened accounts there so we could cash in. They only sold to non-members.
This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

I'm so happy that I was able to tell my story and make all of you feel our blessing is close. I was so excited after leaving the bank! I couldn't wait to get home and tell my husband. We're so thankful for Okie and his team. They give up so much of themselves to give us information we want and need. Thank you so much for your efforts OOM Team! God Bless you and God Bless America! GO RV!!!

Re: Just a little bank story
Thank you Sandy!
I picked up my VND order at WF yesterday, and the forex lady asked me straight out if I was buying in anticipation of an increase the currency's value.
Of course I said yes,and she replied a lot of folks are doing the same thing.
I asked about the IQD,she said they would buy it when it becomes acceptable currency once again.
She mentioned the other currencies they do not work with at this time,Egypt and Afghanistan come to mind, there were more,I cannot remember them offhand.
I believe it is not tooooo far away
One way or another,I am here to stay

Re: Just a little bank story
My own personal bank story/confirmation.
Yesterday I read on one of the forums that two [eople (man and widfe) had gone to their WF bank in the panhandle of Florida and noticed that the branch was going to be open on Monday, Presidents Day. This is highly unusual. They also said that they went to a nother nearby WF branch and found the same thing.
So, today I went to my branch in Georgia and asked if they would be open on Monday, towhich the teller replied (in an unhappy voice) that they would also be open on Monday.
So it makes me go UMMMMMMMMMMM?
I have been involved with the Dinar vor well over a year, and I am finally getting optimistic about it "popping" out in the very near future. Just MHO

Re: Just a little bank story
Just was at WF Bank in Oregon - had a mass produced sitck on the glass sign stating
"Wells Fargo Bank will be OPEN
on PRESIDENT'S DAY
FEBRUARY 20, 2012"
They've not been open on Federal Holidays prior to this that I am aware of.
People get ready.

Re: Just a little bank story
I goggled Fifth Third and PNC and both will have their in-store branches open, not their neighborhood branches. They also said Chase, Republic, Stock Yard and US Bank will be open. This is truly awesome!!
I hope and pray the reason they're open is for cash-in of the RV!! This is really exciting.
I wish all of you health and happiness after this blessed event. We are so blessed to be part of it.
OH HAPPY DAY!!!

Re: Just a little bank story
Thanks for the good news from Ohio, I still think any bank that deals in foreign currency now will deal in the IQD after RV. The only thing I see that may delay that is the release from UN sanctions of Chapter 7, which BTW is on the schedule for the UNSC to discuss in June.
On the banks being open on Monday, I would not read too much into that, like airlines when one lowers the price they all do, One major says we will open, they all will.

Re: Just a little bank story
Hello everyone. Sometimes the banks, such as chase, will be open one holiday, like pres day, and not another like mlk day and then switch the following year. Also went to wells last week to open a checking account with 100 bucks . I sat down with the banker and he told me he needed 200. 100 for a checking and 100 for a savings and told me I couldnt open without the 200. I did not have 200. He asked me why I was open, ing an account since I have an account with chase, and I told him that I heard wells would be handling cash transfers on iraqi dinar when it revalues. As soon as I said that he excused himself and got an over ride from his manager and opened a checking and a savings with my original 100. Seemed a bit strange but I was happy.
