I am positive about all Intel. It is you that has a problem with the Intel. Are you sucking up to Miskebam since this was her origional information? Sure does appear this way.
You sure can't take the heat but you sure can dish it out to others. I just knew you would not like being on the receiving end for a change. But what I have said is the truth.

Im not sucking up to anyone! Don't need to suck up to anyone. You also told me you were pretty old, not too many old folks use terms like "sucking up." Maybe Im wrong in that.
Also, I have always maintained that practically speaking they would need the HCL and Erbil in order to achieve stability and this was a prerequisite for the RV.
I tend to comment based on what is said!

Nope, there were however, several meetings of all the various factions. In fact I remember official new articles where several MPs were quoted as saying that they expected to 'finalize' the HCL and Erbil during specific meetings. Didn't happen, but at least they are working on it.

Looks like the comment of the $.46 was in reference to the value of the USD, not the IQD potential rate.
And if iraq isnt owned already at $.00086 why would they be "owned" at a higher rate.
Also, keep in mind not all currencies in the ME or OPEC are high like kuwait. Saudi and several others are $.27.....

The OPEC presidency is symbolic! But I think the rate will be 86 cents. I just don't see it going as high as people are saying. I feel they will move three decimal places if anything!

has nothing to do with decimal places. The USD is the currency on the streets now the majority of the 000 notes have been removed in Iraq. Bringing out new lower denom notes at a rate close to the USD makes logical sence... it also is a true reflection of their economy, which is not good (about as good as the US economy).
It also leaves plenty of room to allow the currency to appreciate as the Iraqi economy grows... until it becomes the strongest economy in the Middle East, just as Shabibi says it will be.

Ok so, a 1:1 RV...thats fine too. Just don't see the Dinar being stronger then the dollar, so soon anyway.

I have been planning on .86 cents since the day I got into this 3-years ago, and my plan is the same, bUT i'll take .10cents in a heartbeat at this point. Just want closure on this and as Timster once said, "Once it RV's, I'm using my PC as an anchor for my my boat"..
