When commenting to a topic...

Is anyone else having this problem:

When I comment to a thread...I automatically get locked into "watch this topic" even if I don't chose to. Anyone else getting this...

Yes, It happened earlier today. I had to delete all the notifications from it in my email. I will go look and see if it is still doing it.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. Can Miske make the default to not follow?

Me too. I have to click on the link in my email and then click on "stop watching this thread" at the bottom of the page.

Ok, you have to go to your profile, select preferences and then select no for following topics.

Okay, well, guess I'll throw in my two cents and say that I like it that I'm automatically following a thread in which I post a comment. But thanks for the info, ponee, in case I decide to change my mind!

After you get your first notice you can go to the bpottom and turn the notifications off Until Miske fixes it Thanks miske ...rick152

The fix is to go into your preferences and deselect the notification button.This is per Miske.

Happened to me 2 days ago. Talked to Miske and she had same problem. It went away after I did the above, I just wondered why it suddenly started? Could mean RV?

Naw... probably an update to the forum software changed the "default" settings... I noticed this right off the bat and changed several settings in the "profile" section...
