Yes it is! I guess when we decide to do our research, some of the information is outdated. The good part is, the chronological history of events leading up to when the Iraqi Dinar has revalued. The history can be found in Wiki and they also give you related links to follow. This should confirm to new investors and hopefully give them an understanding of the foreign currency revalue process. which includes but not limited to when they printed new notes, what the old noted look like and the time of war and end war. lots of information out there! History does repeat itself!

This OLD information is no more valid today than when it was posted nearly two years ago. The article is an OPINION piece that is biased and factually incorrect. A few GLARING examples are:

1.) The claims about UNREGISTERED sellers. There are US Treasury authorized sellers throughout the US and they were there at the time the article was written. Blatant disinformation.

2.) Do a little research prior to posting a SADDAM bill as your illustration. At least get a photo of the correct currency if you are going to "discuss" it. Shoddy journalism.

3.) Hyperinflation is our FRIEND in this case and is the primary motivator to stabilize the currency via an RI/RV. Take an economics class.
