Financial Committee, IMF reach agreement on 2012 budget

The Financial; Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, and the International
Monterey Fund (IMF), reached an agreement regarding controversial items
in the draft law of 2012 budget.
Haitham al- Jobori member of the committee from the State of Law
Coalition , in a press statement said that Parliament’s session today,
January 03, will witness the first reading of the aforementioned draft
law.
The committee reached a settlement over most objections by the International Monetary Fund about the budget., al- Jobori said.

I want to wake up tomorrow morning and discover that Iraq has Revalued its currency to something like 11.00USD. It would be very difficult for me to have to accept that, to attempt to live with that.. a real challenge... but you know, I could do it.
Ok, I would settle for $4.50, but not a cent less!

Good find Doodoo.. Isn't our supposed RV based on the 2011 Budget? I think Iraq and the IMF missed an important step called the RV..

[sandwedge] if I understand it correctly, this process goes hand and hand. Laws passed, posted in the gazette, then RV annoucement.
