I would tell you why but my three letter contact told me not to tell. If I tell you I won't get any more intel from him. Wait, what difference will it make if I can't tell anyone.What good is the intel if I can't tell? I'm so confused. Should I tell or should I not tell, that is the question. Oh, to heck with it. Simple answer - OPERATIONAL rates - IQD is not an operational and internationally accepted currency yet - therefore they would not post a rate YET.

Thats a good theory but thats not what it means. The UN Operation rates are just for internal use only. They still use the 1170 rate until any rate change happens. It shows their rate on the main UN Treasury page. It can update at the regular scheduled time or at any time if there is a change.

The Operational Rates of Exchange listed herein are intended only
for the internal record-keeping of the United Nations. No warranty of
accuracy can be given and the United Nations shall not assume any
responsibility in connection with the present publication of these
rates. Generally, the rates are updated monthly, based on market
conditions. Adjustments are also made following official government
devaluations or revaluations.
