Baghdad / NINA / - The oil expert, Hamza Al-Jawahiri, stressed that the continuation of quotas and consensus will not achieve any sustainable development for the national economy.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ) that the continuous increase in oil revenues is controlled by the country's financial administration in accordance with its law and its recent amendments.

Al-Jawahiri added that it is certain, according to the decision-makers and their statements, that most of this increase will go towards the sustainable development of the Iraqi economy in general and the oil and gas sector in particular, through the establishment of profit-generating projects and the employment of the largest possible number of the unemployed in partnership with the private sector and the restoration of suspended projects, which are By the thousands, establishing sovereign funds for emergency and sustainable development, in addition to increasing gold and hard currency reserves.

He explained: If these goals are achieved without the parties controlling the reins of power in the country through consensus and quotas, then Iraq will be fine.

Al-Jawahiri stressed that what we fear is the return of consensus and quotas and the preservation of the political system in its current form at that time, nothing will be achieved at all, and Iraq will remain from bad to worse. / End 3
