Gurus Making Money on Conference Calls?

I did search this site to see if there were already a topic on this. I did not find one.  I apologize if there is. My questions is do these guru's make money on all these conference calls? These calls go on and on and most of time have no real substance. Are they being paid a kick back as suggested by these two posts I found? Is this true? The time and effort they put into all of these conference calls logically suggests there is some truth to what they have said. 

It can't be very much. I am looking into the background of some of these people and just by looking at the pictures they post of their homes, on purpose or by mistake suggest they are kinda losers. 

I am curious.

Yes they do seem to be from rural areas codes 712, 218. I am going to try and keep track of the area codes. There was a call last night. Now another one tonight. They are really becoming time vampires.
