Twilight news/forecast, a senior official in the Kuwaiti Government, Monday, exit Iraq from Chapter VII early next year, stressing that Kuwait has sought since 2003 to improve its image among the Iraqi people.
Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mubarak, in remarks seen by "Twilight", "we expect to come out of Iraq under the sanctions imposed in accordance with article 7, with effect from next year."
"Kuwait, leadership, Government and people, Iraq's good intentions and wish him prosperity and stability, because that will be reflected on Kuwait".
He stressed that "Kuwait has sought since 2003 and since the change of regime in Iraq, with concrete steps and information, to improve the image of Kuwait to the Iraqi people and vice versa. In addition to close cooperation with the global institutions that govern some of the parties to the relationship between the two countries. "
The Iraq since 1990 under Chapter VII of the UN Charter imposed after the invasion of Saddam Hussein's regime, the State of Kuwait in August of the same year, this item allows the use of force against Iraq as a threat to international security, as well as to freeze large amounts of stock in international banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion.
