I go away for a little while - and some want to go back to the "rumor mill". I was so frustrated at some of the articles I was sick to my stomach. Can you say "RUNAWAY TRAIN"?

We've been around this investment long enough to realise this is not going to happen overnight. We've come to understand that we must view this differently from any other "investment" - because it IS different from any other investment.

Do we really care what rate is being called? The only rate that matters is the one that IS.

Are their bad people who do business (like the recent allegations as close to my area as Texas and as far from my area as Iraq and Shabibi) and get caught? As soon as I saw "wire-transfer" that told me all. This is one of the ways scam artists get peoples money. Did you know if someone wires you money - they can also retract money from that account? Sometimes "people" get greedy. Embezzeling and tax evasion happens all the time. It doesn't make the IQD a bad investment. As I said in a previous post - If I make nothing then it was an interest free loan or donation to humanitarian cause. I can live with that.

Let us stay focused on the reality of how the world really operates, not how everyone wants it to operate. I like Terbo's idea of taking a vacation til after the new year to see if we were all presently surprised, but that isn't going to happen. Things run amuck when you don't stay on top of things. We might not all agree all the time - but here - here on DDD - we are honest with each other. Don't let the dishonesty of other groups cause a ruckess in OUR family.

Head up - chins up - positive but level attitudes - holiday spirit - human compassion. Let's bring in the New Year with hope - but more importantly - love, undertanding, tolerance and patience.

Do I need to bust you out...you look a little green and bah humbug'gy

Just tired of being lied to by the 'Idiots',{gurus}-This investment is not only tiresome, it is invisible-And, I'm afraid, if the real truth is known, we are in for a lot longer 'ride', than was originally mentioned-Jus' sayin'-Just my honest opinion-:shock:

We are in this. If we are going to remain in this we just need to remain level headed - look for truth, dismiss the false pretentious arrogant pumpers, stick with real "newspapers" - even when they can't make up their minds which interviewed "opinion" they are going to print (lol) and look for the positive - right direction decisions being made by a recovering rich country. They are rich in resources, and they will make a move.

I agree about the frustration of the so called "guru's" - but I can't stop them. I can't stop the scam artists either - and selling options on futures that don't even exists, and selling shares in companies that don't exist either gives negative vibes to an otherwise smart but lengthy investment.

I can't remove the already existing negative feelings anyone may have - but I can say - you and Kevind have helped me tremendously - pushed me to find facts - corrected me when wrong - encouraged me when waivered, and here we all are waiting together. It is a pleasure to come here (most of the time) when it is just facts and fun. None of like it when our vehicle stalls, and thats what this investment is - our vehicle to better days....but one day it will stall for the last time - and when we go trade it in - it will have been worth the wait. (Me - I'm replacing the Expedition I rolled in 2010 and giving my kid the Gran Prix)

That's like replacing my truck for a new pair of 'earth shoes'-Yeah, I'd do it- Look at the miles you can get out of earth shoes, compared to 12 miles a gallon, right,and look at it this way- No maintenance whatsoever, AND, no gas tax!!-
