Voter ID is really very simple.
If there is no voter ID and vote by mail is in placed, fraud will be even more rampant than it already is. ID requirements do NOTHING to thwart, stifle, whatever you like, any vote. What it would do is keep the integrity.
It can be very simple, Most states require a Birth cert to obtain a driver license so, bring driver license and birth cert to the polls. If one has not a copy it can be obtained here for about $35.00 I think,

If one is in financial difficulties, this could be made tax deductible with receipt.
Contrary to some beliefs, Military do not vote by mail, they are collected and delivered.
If someone is completely in firmed, we could have independent company collect then, after the company is fully vetted.
I feel the President should, by executive order, make voter ID mandatory for all national elections, period.
Also polling places should be open 24 hours so all who wish to vote can do so easily, results to come out the next morning after the 24hr period ends. Example; polls open at 0001 beginning Nov 3 and close 2359 Nov 3.
