Does anyone have any good recommendations on where to purchase some Gold & Silver Coins? Preferably in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area or via mail?

You might try Gold line, Lear Capital, or Rosland Capital- All located in California-Check for the BEST rates, some of them charge an exorbitant buyer's premium, so take care in purchasing,and good luck-And be careful-

Lone Star Mint in Plano. I have been dealing with these folks for almost two decades and I highly recommend them. Get your gold coins through them directly from the UST to avoid buying a gold plated tungsten fake (identical in size and weight) that the Chinese have dumped on the market.

Buy foreign coins... Don't forget when the US govt confiscated all the US gold coins back in the early 1900s. They can do it again but they can't take foreign coins.

If they tried to usurp their authority again and confiscate gold through Executive Order like they did in March of 1933 then you can claim a numismatic value of the coin and they cannot take them from you. You can always melt them down. I have a few bullet molds laying around...hmmmm...I am giving myself bad ideas.
