GOLD!!

There is so much talk of "gold backed currencies" within the guru sales pitch. The idea certainly is appealing. Our imaginations are piqued with visions of gold bars holding the value of currencies rock solid. It's always offered as a contrast to fiat currency systems. Indeed, fiat currencies are nearly equated with evil manipulation by unprincipled greedy global magnates with no empathy for us normal folks.

It turns out, that characterization of gold backing for currency as the salvation for one or all of the world's nations' monetary systems may be a mere fantasy. I will readily admit I am not an economist, however, this is not really that difficult of a subject. I urge all who might read this to guard against anyone who complicates and mystifies the subject only to urge you accept their view.

The following article was written quite plainly - honestly easy to understand. http://www.maxkeiser.com/2017/02/the-problem-with-gold-backed-currencies/ It certainly provides a bigger perspective on "gold backed currencies" than the glorious deliverance it's described as, and assumed to be, by every single guru I've read on IDC and elsewhere. I've even heard of former FED Chairman Greenspan extolling the virtues of "gold back currency", but I wonder how he would honestly answer the dilemmas explained in this article.

It's definitely worth a read if you want to know what you're talking about on the subject, or if you want to know when someone is blowing smoke up your... whatever. As fast and loosely as truth is treated in this investment, it can come in handy to know some of the real story behind so many of the promises and assumptions in dinarland.

And remember, being and staying "grounded", according to Merriam-Webster, means "mentally and emotionally stable; admirably sensible, realistic, and unpretentious." Ask yourself, does this describe you? Does this describe your "favorite" guru? If not and you realize it, you're WAY ahead of the game right there.

Chaz, they are ALL insane- They are out to make money, and a name for themselves, and their names will be jailhouse Joe shortly- The charges for fraud and theft by deception are very highly likely, and they will spend most of their lives in the greybar hotel before all is said and done-
