People In California Are Getting Pulled Over For A Really Bizarre Reason (Video)
The Plumas County, California Sheriff’s Department wants everyone to lighten up a little bit. Sheriff Greg Hagwood teamed up with Wall’s Ice Cream to tackle a serious problem in their community: driving without ice cream. Wall’s posted a video to YouTube last week showing Hagwood and his deputies pulling people over for being too “serious” and gifting them a cone of ice cream to remedy their behavior. The video has been viewed over 100,000 times, and seems to generate one of two responses in viewers: “cool, that’s fun” and “why are they pulling people over for no reason?”Check it out and let us know what you think: -

Well, it is cute and may be a good PR thing, but I seem to remember that eating while driving is in the top 5 reasons accidents happen.

I can't drive and eat at the same time. What are they thinking? It will start dripping and then you look down or reach for a napkin and then poof. You have hit the car in front of you.
Why not give them a coupon to get a cone at their own convenience.

It was a good will gesture and I'm quite sure the police officers asked them how far they were driving and also informed them not to eat and drive.

If they want the PR, give it out to people pulling into parking spots or lots , this guy wants to make it to 30 years then retire the force and run for office as Mayer lol

Actually, they probably waited with another unit just down the road and ticketed them for driving while eating.
