80 Christians Killed, 13 Beheaded in Muslim Attack on Peaceful Village

News is starting to emerge regarding an attack upon what were predominantly elderly Christians in the northwest Syrian town of Kessab, on the Turkish border. The attack is reported to have taken place on March 23^rd.
 
Eighty people have been reported to have been killed, with at least 13 Christians beheaded. Churches were desecrated and homes looted. Thousands of others were forced to flee in fear for their lives.
Barnabas Fund, a Christian aid group reported “Militants from the al-Qaeda-[terror group] linked al-Nusra Front [and groups] Sham al-Islam and Ansar al-Sham attacked Kessab on the Turkish border early on Friday March 23. Around 3,000 Armenian Christian residents fled for their lives, taking refuge in neighbouring Latakia and Bassit.”
 
They also report that “a dozen or so families with members too elderly to leave remained in Kessab and were subsequently taken hostage.”
 
In the wake of the attacks, the Syrian army mounted a counter-offensive to retake the territory.
 
Kessab had been the last Syrian border crossing into Turkey which was still under Syrian government control. Reaffirming what many Americans already knew, the “Free Syrian Army” that John McCain had declared as moderates, has been infiltrated by Islamic militants.
Turkey is suspected of having been involved in the attacks. The Armenian National Committee of America wrote to B. Hussein Obama, urging him to press NATO member Turkey to stop “facilitating attacks by foreign fighters associated with US-designated terrorist groups.” They stated, “For months, we have warned the international community of the imminent threat posed by extremist foreign fighters.”
 
As non-combative Christians, these Syrians won’t be eligible for refugee status in America. That permission is reserved for those with “moderate terror associations.”

So according to our wonderful administration being subject to execution for your beliefs is not sufficient cause to be considered for asylum? Perhaps if they were Muslims being threatened by Christians?
