I am honored to participate on this forum. However, I purchased a few dinars a couple of years ago and put them aside. Busy taking care of my elderly Mom while trying to work. Now that I am retired can spend more time with Mom and participate in a more positive venture.

Will I need to join a group and get on a list to receive the 800#'s when posted? I read the Dinar recap blogs and on their email list. Thats where I discovered this forum.

If you are on Recaps list, and IF there really are 800#s, you are supposedly covered. Having said that, the credibility of those touting the 800#s is somewhere south of zero, so I will be amazed if they actually exist.

Just as a quick example, they have been touting Zimbabwean currency lately, talking about it as recently as yesterday, stating it will RV in the first basket. There is only one problem, there currently is no Zimbabwean currency. The ZWD was suspended years ago and they use foreign currencies for all trade today. Speculation in an op-ed piece posted yesterday aside, there are no plans at this time to reintroduce it anytime soon.

Welcome to the land of the truth, Okie was here at one time but got ran out of this town a couple + years back. Welcome. I would not get on a list for any 800 number. That I think is a bunch of bull. Just take them to your bank when it RV's and cash in. they will help you with what ever you need to do with it. Plus the people at your bank should be people you know. I've banked at the same bank for over 30 years and know them well. I wouldn't trust anyone I can't see face to face and do not know.
