There are thirty books of the Bible in this paragraph. It is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket, on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much, he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot. That's a fact. Some people however, will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in this paragraph. During a recent fund raising event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new sales record. The local paper, The Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it, "the books are all right here in plain view hidden from sight." Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. Also, keep in mind, that punctuation and spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus, there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found. Have fun.

I have just been reminded why I stopped posting here -- grrrrr - the formatting - I always check the preview and 99% of the time it does not even copy like the preview -- ughhhhhh - I will not allow it to get the very best of me though !

Wonderful -- we will wait and hopefully others will respond - then we will get you to list the ones you found - but we will leave it like this to give everyone the same advantage -- None -- lol

You are welcome. I copy and paste into Word, but basically all you have to do is remove all the line feeds. You can also do that by typing "end, space, delete," but that can get old real fast. In Word I can automate it. I then copy it back over a a text file.

Good Morning Kevin --- Thank you for the instructions but I am still kinda lost as I do not know what you mean by "removing all the line feeds" how do you know what they are? I put the article in word and thought it was formatted correctly -
Understand I have never had any computer classes - everything has been totally on my own stumbling - How do you "automate" an article - I am thankful the bold and color features work for me -- lol
Well if you have time to answer - understand if you don't or it is too complicated
I just would like for my work to look neat and professional

The only way you can know for sure is where you see a short line. The line before has a "line feed" at the end ... basically if it is a short article I just go to the end of each line, (end key) and if there is a space after the last word, I hit delete, if not I insert a space and then hit delete. Sometimes you will delete a letter from the next word, just correct that and go on.
If it is a longer document, I will copy to Word and use the search and replace feature . I then save the document as a plain text file and copy and paste.

KEVIN THANKS SO MUCH FOR EXPLAINING ALL OF THAT TO ME -- it is something I did not know - heck terminology I had not heard "line feed" not sure I understand and can do but I am going to play around with it - -- below are the books in the search listed in order in paragraph- we did not have much participation - sorry about that -- maybe I can find something more interesting --
