prayer request

This request is not only for those on this list but for all those who place themselves in harms way for our own freedoms and security. Came to me in a e-mail. Thanks

Prayer Request

I
have been asked by a friend to say a prayer for "Darkhorse" 3 rd
Battalion 5th Marines and their families They are fighting it out in
Afghanistan & they have lost 9 marines in 4 days. IT WOULD BE NICE
TO SEE the message spread. PLEASE pass it on. There is nothing in the
media about these guys because no one seems to care: Justin Allen, 23,
Brett Linley, 29, Matthew Weikert, 29, Justus Bartett, 27, Dave Santos,
21, Chase Stanley, 21 Jesse Reed, 26, Matthew Johnson, 21, Zachary
Fisher, 24, Brandon King, 23, Christopher Goeke, 23, Sheldon Tate, 27.
All are Marines that gave their lives for YOU this week.

I have sent this request to a friend of mine who will get it into the prayer network established by the veterans. He served in Viet Nam with the Marines and was in the first Tet offensive. Also to our prayer circle locally.

This is way outdated. It looked familiar to me, so I went back and looked. It was true in Dec 2010 when it originated, but like so many things on the web it has taken a life of it's own. They returned from that deployment April of 2011. I am not sure if they are deployed now or not, but that letter is from 2010.

We should be praying for the safety of all our troops regardless. Whether here or there, they work many long hours and put their lives at risk daily to protect our freedom. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
