Istanbul / NINA / - The Turkish lira continued its decline against the US dollar and other foreign currencies, hitting a new record low.

And the Turkish lira recorded, at 18:35 pm today, Tuesday local time, 10.39 lira against the US dollar.

On Monday, the Turkish lira fell by 0.8% at 10,075 against the US dollar.

This decline in the value of the Turkish currency comes amid concerns about monetary policy after the Turkish Central Bank began cutting interest rates.

The lira, which has become among the worst emerging market currencies this year, has lost two-thirds of its value in 5 years./End
