DELTA, a big thanks to you for always giving me a jolt of adrenaline when I might be feeling gloomy about all this. May I ask if you have seen or heard anything regarding the Iraqi citizens and their reactions to the new price increases? I appreciate all of you, thank you again.

Visa is a international company and we use visa worldwide. .
Iraq didn't mention or announce any of the internationalism of thier country, but the rest of the world pointing at them, that U ARE INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY!

It would seem to me also they are locking down at the borders for any of the higher notes 25,000, 10,000, etc.. from leaving the country once they show the new rate officially... Important to stop those higher notes dead in their tracks.
Because the new ld's will coexist with the higher notes they want the citizens just to deposit their money and retire the higher notes until they are no more as the new lower notes and coins will now be in circulation.....
Delta, the article you showed us is like the CBI tipping their hand. They have got to lay their cards on the table now! Funny... I'm excited but a calm excitement until it actually happens and we see the new rate on the CBI. Then I will be.

The unification of customs duties between the governments of Baghdad and Erbil is the first in the history of Iraq
17-02-2019 10:21 AM
The Directorate of General Customs in the Kurdistan Regional Government, on Sunday, that the unification of customs duties between the governments of Baghdad and Erbil, is the first in the history of Iraq.
The Director of the General Customs in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Samal Abdul Rahman, told a news conference that 'the agreement on the unification of fees is one of the positive in the understandings between the two governments, the federal and the Kurdistan region', echoing 'we see today the results of these understandings on the ground'.
"We are seeking to complete all the other needs in this file, with the Iraqi Customs Authority," he said, adding that 'the unification of fees between the two governments is the first of its kind in the history of Iraq'.
"We have agreed with the federal government that the fees collected should not be high," he said.
He pointed out that 'there is no country in the world, obtained customs fees from within the country, so it was agreed with the federal government to obtain a unified fee from Umm Qasr to Ibrahim Hebron'. link
