Ahrar: Iraqi National alliance does not want State of law coalition separation
Thursday, 31 July 2014 09:40
Shafaq News / The parliamentary Ahrar bloc of the Sadrist movement led by, Muqtada al-Sadr confirmed on Thursday, that the Iraqi National alliance does not want State of law coalition to separate from the National Alliance because of the crisis of the prime ministerial candidate.
The member of the bloc , Amir al- Kanani said in an interview with "Shafaq News", that "The agreed thing until now by most of the components of the National Alliance is the absolute rejection of the third term for the current Prime Minister ,Nuri al-Maliki."
Kanani explained that "the National alliance is working through negotiations to keep the brothers in State of law within the National Alliance agree on a candidate for prime minister without resorting to the divisions crisis because of prime minister post."
A big disagreement is taking place within the Iraqi National Alliance on the back of ground of refusing to give al-Maliki the post of prime minister for a third term and the insistence of and adherence to State of law coalition on its candidate to head the government.
Shiite forces’ rejection has a broad support of the Sunni and Kurdish political forces, which sees the need to hand over the post of prime minister to accepted character admissibility by the political parties.
