Tony's buddy Obama, tony said he listened to his call, LMAO, has to have a spokes person tell the press things that he could never say. That way he could not be held accountable for anything he says or does. I guess the white house spoke to josh, he should try a real person and give names who told him what to say. Just like tony talking to the ust, hahahaahah. Have a fun day.

The good thing about Donald is that he forces politicians to face the real issues and start coming up with solutions. You can't sit silent when Donald is around.

You are right Hezekiah. If nothing else, the other candidates had to face issues they were trying to hedge around before.

Trump is correct and copied below is an example as to why. We as a country need to wake up and stop viewing this subject through ROSEY colored glasses. Read the article below and then you tell me we should not use every precaution available to us including the closure of our borders to anyone we feel Might Be, Could Be or is a threat to our safety and the safety of our country. French police raided a mosque Sunday, finding what they call a “staggering” amount of weapons, ammunition, and terrorist propaganda.
Following the Islamic terror attacks in Paris that killed over 130 people, France has begun raiding mosques, despite cries of “Islamophobia” and racism. However, what police found Muslims hiding there is more than enough to have us demanding they all be torn down.
In a controversial move, a mosque in Lagny-sur-Marne was thoroughly raided by French authorities Sunday after its members were suspected of supporting the Paris terror attacks and the Islamic State (ISIS/Daesh). What they found was absolutely chilling.
France 24 reports that police uncovered massive stash of 7.62mm Kalashnikov ammunition and ISIS propaganda videos. A revolver and “jihadist documents” were also found at the home of one of the mosque leaders.
At least 334 weapons were confiscated and 232 Muslims were arrested, with 22 under surveillance with travel bans and 9 placed under house arrest.
This is the third mosque to be closed in France since the Paris attack on November 13. As a result of the terror attacks, 2,235 homes have been subsequently raided.
“
“In 15 days we have seized one-third of the quantity of war-grade weapons that are normally seized in a year,” France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve told Express.
Police also found recordings of religious chants “glorifying the martyrs of jihad linked to the terrorist organisation Jabhat al-Nusra,” the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, the prefecture added.
”
While those of us on the right warn that more gun control will only leave us defenseless, France has proven it with their own failed policies. All but banning weapons hasn’t stopped Islamic terrorists from obtaining them, as these raids have shown. This is one instance where we should learn from the mistakes of others, rather than making more of our own — mistakes that will cost more American lives than we’ve already seen lost at the hands of those who follow Islam, Allah, and his pedophile prophet.
President of the local Muslim association, Mohammed Ramdane, criticized the police’s closure of the mosque, blaming them for setting up local Muslims.
The ISIS videos were found among an abundance of teaching material for Muslim children of a connected madrassa.
“
“Nothing has been found,” he claimed. “Nothing is hidden, we don’t hide anything.”
”
So far, the Schengen Agreement allows the EU’s 400 million residents and other non-EU nationals to freely cross Europe without showing an ID or waiting to be screened.
Because of it, thousands who support Islamic terror and wish to terrorize European civilians are now in Europe.
Although the left attempts to argue that most mosques won’t harbor weapons or terrorists, we must remember that it only took a handful of Muslims to slaughter more than 130 people in Paris. Of course, political correctness has perpetuated these attacks, making witnesses afraid to come forward with information for fear they will be labeled racist or Islamophobic.
Still, these mosques are teaching from the Quran, the same book that contains 109 verses that command all Muslims to be violent and slaughter unbelievers in order to receive an eternal reward. In case any of these imams or Muslim mosque goers decide that the Quran is actually peaceful and not to be taken literally, they only need to look at the only “interpretation” that Allah said matters — Muhammad’s.
As the messenger of Allah, Muhammad wasn’t only charged with preaching the divine revelation, but modeling it for followers to copy. Because Muhammad beheaded, raped, enslaved, and conquered until the day of his death, Muslims must behead, rape, enslave, and conquer as he did. If they do not emulate their prophet to the best of their ability, the Quran states that they are hypocrites who will share hell with their infidel friends.
Because Islam is enshrouded by the term “religion,” we have been fooled into thinking that it must be tolerated and even respected. We must buck the notion that all religions are created equal. All religions are ideologies, and therefore, can never be equal. Because Islam is more violent and produces more terrorists than any other religions combined, tolerance of it would mean our own non-existence.

Carter Banned Iranians from Coming to US During Hostage Crisis

Trump is a monster, a madman and a vile racist. He's just like Hitler. Or Jimmy Carter.
During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put pressure on Iran. Among these, Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency.
Here's Jimmy "Hitler" Carter saying it back in 1980.
Apparently barring people from a terrorist country is not against "our values" after all. It may even be "who we are". Either that or Carter was a racist monster just like Trump.
Meanwhile here's how the Iranian students in the US were treated.
In November 1979, the Attorney General had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Around 7,000 were found in violation of their visas. Around 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the US.
Meanwhile any Iranians entering the US were forced to undergo secondary screening.
Interestingly enough, Carter did this by invoking the Nationality Act of 1952. A law originally opposed by Democrats for its attempt to restrict Communist immigration to the United States.
“If this oasis of the world should be overrun, perverted, contaminated, or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished,” Senator McCarran said of the law. He was a Democrat.
Now unlike Muslims, Iranians were not necessarily supportive of Islamic terrorism. Many were and are opponents of it. Khomeini didn't represent Iran as a country, but his Islamist allies. So Trump's proposal is far more legitimate than Carter's action. Carter targeted people by nationality. Trump's proposal does so by ideology.
Classifying Iranians as a group is closer to racism than classifying people by a racist supremacist ideology that calls for the mass murder and enslavement of non-Muslims, as ISIS is doing today.
One of the neater subsets of the 1952 Act barred the entry of, "(11) Aliens who are polygamists or who practice polygamy or advocate the practice of polygamy."
I wonder which creed this might apply to.
Maybe the professional conservatives running around shrieking their heads off can calm down now long enough to have a rational conversation on the subject.

Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly.
Apparently barring people from a terrorist country is not against "our values" after all. It may even be "who we are". Either that or Carter was a racist monster just like Trump.
Meanwhile here's how the Iranian students in the US were treated.
Carter orders 50,000 Iranian students in US to report to immigration office with view to deporting those in violation of their visas. On 27 December 1979, US appeals court allows deportation of Iranian students found in violation.
In November 1979, the Attorney General had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Around 7,000 were found in violation of their visas. Around 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the US.

So SSmith are we to believe bared upon your posted that we should do nothing as there is nothing to worry about. That these refugees are all safe people. Having a rational conversation is great, but UNTIL we find a really good system to truly vet this people or any people for that matter, we need to show extreme caution and the French raid of the mosque is only one example of why. Anyone that believes we should accept this program as is scares the hell out of me. I am sure some of the refugees are good people, but we don't know that. Remember Tashfeen Mailk was vetted by our US Imigration process and look at the end result of that vetting process. The system needs to be improved before we allow entry to anyone.

If you read the article, what Carter did is very similar to what Trump is suggesting.

Re: White House Says Trump Comments Disqualify Him From Presidency
I'd say don't get me started on Trump, but ... too late! :-)
Carter banned Iranian nationals from entering the country as part of sanctions. That is trivial to do, you just check their passport. Trump wants to do something entirely different which is to ban people of a particular religion, muslims. I think that's a very bad idea, but even if you think its a good idea just how do you determine someone's religion? Trump seems to think that terrorists entering the US will be unwilling to lie about their beliefs despite knowing that if they tell the truth their plans will be foiled. Yea right. Its perhaps the stupidest thing ever said by a politician, and make no mistake Trump is a master politician. Trumps brilliance is in self promotion not domestic policy or foreign policy or even business.
I'm sure he believes he's a great businessman, but its just not the case. If you take his inheritance in the mid 70s and just put in the the Dow index despite all its ups and downs, you'd have somewhere between perhaps 125% to 300% of what Trump has now. In other words at best he's done slightly worse than the average large company. He's had 4 companies declare bankruptcy. Trumps non-answer to that is that bankruptcy is a perfectly legal business tactic. Of course that is true, but that's not the question (what is one of, if not THE key tactic of politicians? never give a straight answer). You do not take successful businesses into bankruptcy you take UNsuccessful companies into bankruptcy.
Then we have his tax plan that the non partisan analysts say will add 11 Trillion to the debt over ten years (I think Cruz and Rubio were 8 and 10 T (or the other way around) and Sanders is something like 20T). Trump's claim that it will not do so is that he assumes productivity will rise at 3.6% per year, which has never happened since the manufacturing frenzy of WWII. i.e. its nonsense. He wants to get into a tariff war over manufacturing in low wage countries, completely ignoring the fact that that is all a 20th century issue and manufacturing being done by robots is the reality going forward.
Climate change is without any doubt a very very serious issue that we should be leading the world on (and selling them the technology to deal with it) but Trump just waves away reality and says that weather goes up and down (not understanding the difference between weather and climate) and that he would only accept it if someone can prove it to him! Excuse me but the president does not have the right to make up his own reality. He can decide what to DO about reality (including ignoring it which in this case would be insane), but he does not get to replace reality with his personal opinion. He (and many other deniers) rail on how horrible it is to pass our (indeed problematic) national debt on to our children and grandchildren, yet is willing to pass on a titanically larger debt in the form of climate change which will be hugely more costly to ameliorate the longer we delay doing so.
In our media driven political system self promotion is the perfect skill to have and Trump has it in spades but alas he has little else.

Re: White House Says Trump Comments Disqualify Him From Presidency
I'm no Trump fan by any means, & the more I hear him the less I like him. However in justice the implication that he has done only slightly better than the average company is an overly simplistic comparison. It assumes the investment was left completely untouched and does not account for living and other expenses. Face it, Trumps financial footprint is somewhat higher than average. He lays out more for fuel in an average week than most of us live on for a year.
He's had more than his share of failures, Trump Vodka, Trump energy drinks to name a couple off the top of my head, but these days the biggest thing he is marketing is his name. In that vein, for him, this whole presidential candidacy is a win-win scenario. Win or lose, he increases the value of the Trump branding. I'm actually looking forward to voting against him in about a week, but I have to admire his marketing sense.
