The information / Baghdad ..
The economic expert, Ihssan Al-Kinani, said Tuesday that the country's dependence on oil mainly on oil will make Iraq among the poor countries in light of the high prices and population density that the country is witnessing.
Al-Kinani said to / the information /, that "the state may resort to adopting the wrong methods in financing the budget deficit, by raising the dollar exchange rate to more than 200 thousand dinars per hundred dollars."
He added, "The state's reliance on oil as a primary financier for the budget is a wrong approach, as it is possible to attract Chinese, Japanese and Korean giant companies to rehabilitate the Iraqi infrastructure in exchange for oil, and then it is possible to impose bills related to communications, electricity, waste and gas, as is the case in most European countries."
Kanani pointed out that "most countries do not own oil and rely on financing their budgets on other resources that enter them through taxes, utility bills, highways and housing projects that bypass the problem of population density."
