The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Iraq is working to restore its regional and global role and finds its support for dialogue tracks in the region, indicating that it continues to follow up the file of Iraqi funds and real estate abroad.
The spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a press statement, that Iraq is making great efforts to reserve international positions, to restore the opportunity for decision-making in more than one important circle related to human rights, the United Nations and human rights organizations, adding that Iraq is taking an active role in its diplomatic movement, to devote Balance and stability at the regional level, pointing out that a movement is currently underway to recover Iraqi funds abroad, which recently resulted in the recovery of 24 million dollars from Germany, while the ministry and Iraqi embassies abroad continue to work on following up the file of Iraqi funds abroad.
